Combine the most attended fair in the U.S. with one of the most heated rivalries in college football and what you get is one the biggest weekend events in the state of Texas. The Texas state fair attracts nearly 2.5 million visitors to the city of Dallas each year and on the weekend of the red river rivalry (Texas Longhorns vs. Oklahoma Sooners), you can add 100,000 more to the mix. Our festival invites student performing arts groups from high schools and middle schools throughout the southwest to Dallas for an opportunity to perform, serve, and celebrate during one of the states most exciting weekends.
