About CE's CenterStage Events
CE's CenterStage events are uniquely designed performance opportunities for musical and performing arts youth groups. Unlike typical music festivals, these 2 day events bring together Choir, Band, Orchestra, and Dance groups from across the globe for a long weekend of exchange, charity & Service, and performance. Each year, CE selects 6 unique destinations on 6 different dates for the CenterStage Events. Whether your groups chooses the same, or a new destination each year, CenterStage performance events are never the same. Our CenterStage music and performing arts events take music festivals to a whole new level.
EXCHANGE
CenterStage encourages teamwork and teambuilding among our student performers. Each performance group that attends an event will be partnered with a school group local to the destination of the event. The groups will partner and form a team for the purposes of the "Charitable Community Challenge", preparation for your performance, and a fun activity / event . Relationships formed in this exchange bridge gaps and develop long lasting friendships that extend geographic and cultural borders.
CHARITY AND SERVICE
A main focus of the CenterStage event is giving back to the community. Your group and their local exchange partner group, as a team, will select a community service project or a local charity to fundraise for. For fundraisers, your team will compete against other teams participating in the event in the, winner take all, "Charitable Community Competition" to raise the most money for their respective charities. Think Celebrity Apprentice, except there is no Trump, no one gets fired, and the kids are the celebrities!.
PERFORMANCE
The CenterStage concert is the major focus and culmination of the entire event. For each event, CE selects uniquely amazing venues for our concerts to be held. The concert is an adjudicated performance complete with an award ceremony and a grand prize presentation for the winner. The concert is open to the public and promoted via local media and during the "Charitable Community Competition" by your team. It will truly be a night to remember.
